10/19/2011 0 Comments A tintype from a digital file?!![]() The original image was captured digitally during a photoshoot in my studio. I loved the look of the digital image and wondered how the recreation would translate if I created a tintype from the original. After creating a slide and dialing in the proper exposure into my enlarger, here are the results! While I prefer the in camera capture of traditional tintype capture, I do find there to be enough magic in the recreation to catch my eye. Plus it is neat-o to know that you can take any digital image and recreate a tintype!
