A weekend introduction into wet plate with partner Dodd Camera.
Students will make tintypes and ambrotypes during this hands on make & take workshop. Attendees should expect to make their own 4x5 plates during this introductory experience. Participants should come prepared to process photographs in the darkroom and wear clothing that can be stained . This workshop is focused on the experience of coating, developing, fixing and varnishing wet plate collodion images. No experience is needed. Tickets are available through eventbrite.
